We walked the walk!
In May 2009, Holly from Black Cat Creative completed the 26 mile power walk through the streets of London to help raise money for Breakthrough Breast Cancer!
After 8 hours and 45 mins, Holly and her walking partner Rachel completed the walk after surviving through the night on Jelly Babies and Kendal Mint cake! The walk was much tougher than they expected and they didn’t know whether they could finish on several occasions due to the pain in their legs and feet and the exhaustion of having not slept! The sponsorship money they’d raised and thoughts of those who had lost their battle with Breast cancer drove them on and they finally finished at 8.40am!
Holly wants to say a huge thank you for everyone’s sponsorship, raising £545!! The pain (but luckily no blisters!) was worth it for such a good cause, thanks again!
